Kite produces cell therapy in the Netherlands since 2020

Kite’s cell therapy manufacturing facility is strategically located next to Schiphol Airport.

From Hoofddorp, Kite produces cell therapy for more than 300 specialized treatment centers within and outside Europe.

Our manufacturing facility in Hoofddorp is one of the locations within Kite’s global production network.

Within this global network of manufacturing facilities, we deliver cell therapies quickly and reliably to specialized treatment centers around the world. As we continue to grow and expand, we invest in manufacturing and technological innovations that will help us meet the future needs.

  • Manufacturing facility: 19.000m2 and CO2 neutral
  • Employment: >850 employees representing more than 50 different nationalities
  • Production and supply: Manufactures and delivers cell therapies to approximately ~325 qualified treatment centers in over 24 countries across 3 continents (Europe, Asia, and South America)
  • Capacity: From this manufacturing facility, we can produce cell therapy for up to 4.000 patients per year
  • Clinical research: The Hoofddorp facility plays a crucial role in making cell therapies available for use in clinical research
